Breeders Cup Latest Gomez gets the cream as Dettori loses Cat |
|
Dettori jocked off Discreet Cat in Breeders Cup Mile Dirt FRANKIE DETTORI, stable jockey to Sheikh Mohammed’s Godolphin operation, has been jocked off his boss's Discreet Cat in the first running of the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile. Instead, the Arabs are staying loyal to Discreet Cat’s local American jockey Garrett Gomez. The decision to jock Dettori off Discreet Cat in the Breeders Cup must come as a major blow to the Italian. While Gomez has been his regular rider recently, Dettori did ride Discreet Cat in the Dubai World Cup and on two other occasions in the glitzy, oil-rich Arab state. While Dettori is overlooked for Discreet Cat, he will still have a fair book of rides in the $23million extravaganza at Monmouth Park at the weekend. That includes the Breeders Cup Turf winner of last year, Red Rocks.Latest Breeders Cup Betting & News
